Britain Venue Guide
✦ Our story

Built by fans who got tired of a bad seat

Britain Venue Guide exists for one reason: so you never spend another matchday squinting at a tiny screen in the corner of the room.

Who we are

We started this guide after one too many matchdays spent straining to hear commentary over the background noise, craning around a pillar, and missing the only goal of the game. There had to be a better way to find a proper sports bar — so we built one.

Today we are the UK’s go-to map for fans who take their matchdays seriously. We connect football, rugby, boxing and motorsport fans with venues that get the details right: big screens with clear sightlines from every seat, sound systems that make the crowd feel close, and staff who can handle a packed house when the whistle goes.

Whether you need a table for a Champions League night, a late-license spot for overseas boxing, or a laid-back local for the Six Nations, we point you to a venue that is actually worth the trip.

01

In the room, not online

We visit during real fixtures. A quiet Tuesday tells you nothing about a Saturday 3pm kick-off.

02

Screens before slogans

Sightlines, sound, seating and service come first. A pretty frontage does not earn a place on the list.

03

Independent ratings

Venues cannot buy a higher rank. If it does not hold up when it is packed, it does not make the cut.

Coverage

From derby days to fight nights

Premier League, rugby internationals, boxing, F1, NFL, cricket and darts — if it is worth watching with a crowd, we cover it.

Want a venue on the list?

If you know a sports bar that deserves a look, tell us. We re-check listings regularly, but the hospitality world moves fast and we would rather hear from a fan than leave you standing outside a closed door on matchday.
